Again, my crew and I had an amazing experience as Scott and Scotty showed their full support toward this scholarly TV project Voices in the Sand. These incredible men are the best! They opened their hearts to understang a social crisis while we fell in love with all of the guests at 15 Rose who embraced this undertaking of TV production. We even had a guest from France cook for all of my crew. The families who stayed here make for a very home-feeling away from home. It is Scott and Scotty who insist on you having a great experience at their place. I would not stay anywhere else on Venice Beach because of the hospitality at 15 Rose--Eric is awesome! I strongly recommend renting the upstairs suites--the view is great.

Surferboy Newtworks brought our film crew from NY to Venice Beach and I decided to again pick 15 Rose Ave because of its historic value and location to the beach. The Owners are first class people who are genuine, generous, and absolutely gracious hosts. We interviewed the owner for our made for TV documentary “Voices in the Sand.” They bought many copies of my book and they throw parties for the guests and love kids too!

I have stayed at 15 Rose many times, but this time the flavor of the experience was awesome because the owners made it awesome. The truth is, you will find few people on the planet that are as pleasant as Scott and Scotty. Also, Steve and Eric are amazing guys. They wil make your stay one you will never forget!

Please feel free to email me if you need more information:

Visited in June and going to return in July. Had a great time. Room was very comfortable and rate was great! Had several great meals on Main St. and at the boardwalk. Breakfast was great - but don't remember the name of the place. The sights and sounds of Venice Beach never cease to amaze. The Friday night gallery crawl on Abbot Kinney was unique and the skateboarding bulldog was phenomenal. Lot's of fun and looking forward to the return visit. Thanks guys.

15 Rose Ave is a great place for anyone to stay. I have stayed there many times over the past year, and I am always very happy with my experience. The staff is sooo nice. The rooms are clean and have a lot of charm. The bachelors with shared bathrooms are more than worth the price, beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are always really clean. The building is in the heart of Venice literally steps from the sand. You can see the beach from the front porch. They have benches and chairs on the porch where you can sit and people watch and take in the palm trees and ocean breeze. It's a short walk to anything in Venice or Santa Monica. Main Street is a block away. It's a block to restaurants, and bars on the beach, and 2 blocks to really good coffee at the Rose Cafe. They have free internet and a great place to relax on couches in the front lobby. It's quiet at night and I always sleep well and feel taken care of this hotel. I highly recommend 15RoseAve!

Just got back from 5 days at the Venice Rose. This was the perfect location for the perfect vacation. The hotel was located within walking distance to dozens of restaurants, bars and any other fun you are looking to get into.

We stayed in one of the suites which was perfect for the 3 of us but could have handled one or 2 more. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home.

I can't wait to come back and do this all over again. The staff and the owners were all helpful and nice. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. Just don't break any of dishes or lose any of the towels and try to replace them at the dollar store. Steve will know. Thanks for a great vacation...
